Proper Noun: - Bế Khắc Triệu: A Tày ethnic chieftain from Thạch Lâm, Cao Bằng province during the Lê dynasty. He participated in the Lam Sơn uprising (1418-1427) and was one of the generals under Lê Lợi who attended the Đông Quan oath-swearing ceremony. After serving as a mandarin for a period, he requested to return to his homeland. In 1431, under suspicion of rebellion, Emperor Lê Thái Tổ (Lê Lợi) sent troops to suppress him. Bế Khắc Triệu fled and later died.
